Puzzle Description:

The only time that my father ever took my brother and i out to a park. He bought us styrofoam and balsa wood airplanes, and took us to Dundurn Castle to fly them. Mine crash landed and my brothers flew beautifully.

Thanks for sharing a beautiful and somehow sad memory Al!

My pleasure Jota,it is a little sad, however my brother Denis and i were the last 2 of 18 children and my father was working 3 jobs to support the family. Not long after this he became ill and all i remember is my father being ill with Emphysema,so the poor guy didn't have much of a chance to spend time with us. I have lots of memories of quality time with my brothers and sisters though,so i wasn't hard done by.:)

That looks like a cool place to fly airplanes. Nicely designed puzzle, fun to solve. Poor Aldege... this doesn't seem like a "favorite" memory. But I sure did like the puzzle. :-)

Thx Teresa,it actually is a favourite memory because due to the size of our family, when i was young i had to sleep in the same bed with my dad. My mom didn't sleep with my dad anymore cause another pregnancy would probably kill her. Most of my memories of my dad are shrouded because i could see what pain he was going through with his illness, therefor this memory of him being well and enjoying time with us I will always cherish.:)

Wow Aldege! I bet it was years before you ever had some alone time with 17 brothers and sisters. Whew I can't even begin to walk in your shoes. I have an older brother that's it! By the bye I loved the puzzle.
