Puzzle Description:

The Ump makes his call,as the player makes a head first slide. Spring training should be starting soon,if it hasn't already,maybe the grapefruit circuit has already begun?

Really?, Aldege. This is the first of your many wondrous puzzle I can not make out. Maybe it is just me today.

No it's not just you Nancy,this one is hard to make out. You can probably make out the players head at bottom right(blue cap),the opponent player has his glove at his head,tagging him out.All you see is his backside as he's hunched over. The umpire is at top right calling the guy out.The red is suppose to represent clay or dirt,and the one players socks,and the green is the grass of the infield. I'm sorry it's hard to make out,but i saw this caption in a magazine,it's a play from the World Series in 1906 between the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox. The Sox were known as the hitless wonders because of their low batting averages,yet they won the World Series. Thx for your comments about my wondrous puzzles,if you can finally decipher this one you might think it's not too bad of an image.lol.:)
