I'm really enjoying your small puzzles! Thanks!#3: Arduinna (arduinna) on Nov 5, 2007
Do you ever not comment because someone else has already said what you wanted to say?#4: J.C. Anderson (jc.noserdna) on Nov 5, 2007
Ditto, Jan!
Tough and tasty! And yes, the best things do come in small packages.#5: Tara Pibel (tarap56) on Nov 7, 2007
I thought this one was hard to get started on, but that made it more satisfying to zip through the rest. Plus it's a good picture, which adds to the fun.#6: Tara Pibel (tarap56) on Nov 7, 2007 [HINT]

I should write up a tutorial on this some day (not that there aren't a lot of other people here who are better at puzzle solving than I am).#8: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz) on Nov 8, 2007
A typical case for "boundary logic" is if the first column of a puzzle contains a "10" and the second column contains only smaller numbers, like "2 2". Then it is likely to be interesting to think about where the "10" can be. If a lot of the row clues start with numbers bigger than one, then plainly the 10 can't be placed so it will cross more than two adjacent rows with clues bigger than 1, because that would create a block bigger than 2 in the second column. Often you can use this to narrow down the position of the 10. Sometimes you can place it exactly.
That's a hopeless explanation. As I said, a proper write-up on this would be worth doing.
I have just recently worked out how to do boundary logic myself. I used what you had written a while ago Jan, but it has taken me months to work it out for myself. I finally did two days ago and I was so happy, I was feeling so left out before, not really, but I did really want to know how to do it. It is hard to explain some things, such as this, it would be great if I could of been shown in person, I would have got it straight away. So good luck if you ever decide to write up a proper tuturial on it, a couple of diagrams would help tremendously too. :)#9: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Nov 9, 2007

Wow, it popped out of nowhere on the very last square. Great puzzle!
