Puzzle Description:

Transit. I haven't taken a city bus in a long, long time, not since i was a kid,and i think the fare was a quarter and you could get a transfer if you had to take another bus. What does it cost now and can you still get a transfer?

It was $1.25 per token in NYC in 1997. I imagine it's more now. At least, Subway tokens were $1.25, and you could make unlimited free transfers as long as you stayed underground.

It was so neat to work on a very different and yet common image. Great job.

Thx Kristen. In 1997 wow, that's 15 yrs ago it must of increased since then. Niki said that it was 2.50 last time she took a bus,and that was at least 4yrs ago.

Very cool image - reminded me of the Partridge Family bus for some reason. In Kingston it is $2.50 to ride the bus - cheaper if you are a youth or senior. Also available are multi ride passes, etc. Worth it if you consider what it costs to park downtown. We used to drive to the mall, park for free and take the bus downtown. You can ask the driver for a transfer to another route. They are free.

Thx Susan,i imagine it's probably the same price all across Canada,i wonder how much it is in the States.
