And what is the question?
Obviously, the checkerboard pattern was obvious, but when I put in the last pieces and completed the puzzle, I was told I did not have the intended solution. I then reverted back to my last saved solution (having anticipated just such a scenerio), and nothing happened. I tried a couple more times but was unable to revert to a previous saved solution. Since I did not consider the checkerboard to be crucial to the solution or the picture itself, I have marked it complete, and will move on to another puzzle. If it happens again, I will pursue the matter further.
