not true....whether it sits in a nursery or you buy it and take it home to plant, the tree is still balled and burlapped. the time of year you plant it makes no difference....you'll just have to keep up with the watering a little better if you opt to plant in the summer-time

Here in CA we are having the opposite problem. It is too warm. No rain or snow in the Sierras. I have no idea what we will be using for water this summer if this keeps up.
