rofl Russell,green from pine tar,or did he not need pine tar because he had the advantage of taking steroids. I think he would of been a great hitter without the steroids.:)

I think he would have too. It is too bad all that stuff happpened with steroids back in the 90's I think it tarnished baseball's image forever. That, of course, is just my humble opinion.

I agree Russell,why do the players feel they need the help of steroids,there were lots of great hitters that weren't that big and overly muscular. Ted Williams was tall and lanky but not super muscular,Gary Carter,Larry Walker,and even Pete Rose were all great hitters,not sluggers although they hit lots of home runs,but great averages.,and that's my humble opinion.:)
