Puzzle Description:

There is one trombone, and a sax and a trumpet. Our music conductor leads a rather small brass section to some sweet sounds.:)

If the title seems nonsensical to some,it's in reference to the song 76 trombones. It's an old song so many of you may not be familiar with it.:)

The Music Man. This one isn't as clear to me.

Hard to believe, but a saxophone, usually made of brass, is not actually part of the brass section. Saxophones are woodwinds, like flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons, and are seldom found in an orchestra.

Nice!

Wow really, that doesn't seem to make sense Lollipop, and why aren't they in orchestra's? They sure were in big bands in the 20's,and 30's. I guess i should of said the horn section maybe.:)

Thx Robin.:)

Aldege. They aren't horns (same as brass). Saxophones are woodwinds. It wasn't bad, just not up to most of the others in this series. I couldn't really make out the trombone. The trumpet was clearly there.

Maybe the conductor also directs a jazz band. :D

But yeah, the sax is a reed instrument. I remember the first time I saw Kenny G playing his soprano sax, and I wondered where he got a metal clarinet that sounded more like an oboe.

I played clarinet. :)

Thx Everyone, actually I knew a sax was a reed instrument because when i played in a band that featured a horn section,i remember our sax player changing reeds in his mouthpiece. We always called them the horn section(trumpet, sax and trombone),or the brass section, and that's what their called in jazz combo's. I know the trombone here is not good, but it was hard to get this all in,in a 20x20. I 'm glad it was still somewhat enjoyable though.:)
