fun to solve!!!!!!!!!!!#9: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Oct 4, 2020
Great image. Tough solve. I am not quite sure what the difference is between "look ahead" and "guessing". But it "look ahead" means thinking you know what part of and area should look like, then I did a far amount of "looking ahead." Enjoyed the challenge a lot.#10: Byrdie (byrdie) on Oct 5, 2020
My definition of look ahead borders on "trial and error." although I don't actually try anything. If you can look a few steps ahead and see what might result from a particular placement that would be look ahead. If you place a dot and move on hoping for a satisfactory result but not knowing the outcome until it either succeeds or fails, that's guessing.
Others may have a different definition and ultimately its those who doe the checking here that have the final say as to what it means.
