Kristen, I used to sell steel pipe, etc. years ago. We got a lot of it from US Steel, and I remember that logo from those days. I guess the Steelers wanted to borrow the logo from them because they are from Pittsburgh where a lot of the steel in America is made, or used to be made. Hey Russell,i was born and spent most of my life in a city called Hamilton,Ontario,Canada. It is known as the Steel City because of it's 2 large steel companies,Stelco,and Dofasco. At one time they were the second largest producers of steel,next to Pittsburgh.
