I have two very spoiled horses.

I have some pics at http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/roboterri/FarmPics/ if you are interested. Most of them are of my Arabian mix gelding. And my niece. I also have a little red quarter horse mare.

Right now the ol' homestead isn't in shape for visitors, MAJOR remodeling project, but maybe next spring we can arrange something, if you'd like. A mini-web pbn/horsie convention.

I didn't realize you were a horsie person... did you make it to any of the American Royal events this year? We went to the draft horse pull last weekend. It was AWESOME. I really need to think of a good excuse to get a draft horse, hee hee. They are sooooo cool.

I love horses. Grew up around them... haven't been ON one in years. *sigh* I also love draft horses. It's amazing those big ole bodies can do some of the things they do! :)

Oh, I wish I'd know that... have you ever been to the Small Farmer's Reunion up in Lathrop, MO? They have it every October, this year's was two weeks ago. I think you would like it. Everything is either horse- mule- human- or steam- powered.

They have all sorts of demonstrations going. My favorite , I think, was the well-digging Belgian.

The best steam power demo was the saw mill.
