This is a lovely puzzle and I don't see why it eas rated as so difficult (5). What does the title mean?

Kristen is correct. I was going to put a window there, but couldn't get it to look right, so I made it a wall instead, and hung the portrait there. :-)

Claudia, a parlor is a sitting room used to chat with guests. Prattle is meaningless chatter. That is a cockatiel, a talking parrot.

Nice puzzle. Puts me in mind of Gitte Olesen's puzzles....that is a compliment!

Yes, I love Gitte's puzzles too. I haven't solved all of them, so it's nice to have some good puzzles still there that I can enjoy. :-)
