#1: Nancy Kay (joyfulnancy) on Dec 5, 2011 [SPOILER]
You didn't let me down! When I read the title, I thought, "it has to be an angel!!" :)#2: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Dec 6, 2011 [SPOILER]
I wasn't sure if it was an Angel or a ringing bell. I was leaning toward the bell regardless of the lyrics. Clever with the title Teresa, thanks for a cool puzzle.:)#3: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Dec 6, 2011 [SPOILER]
Cute! I love the diagonal puzzles. :)#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 6, 2011 [SPOILER]
Hark! The Harold angel sings.#5: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Dec 6, 2011 [SPOILER]
Looks more like a bell that rings.
And what's with that lacy dress?
Good ol' Harold couldn't care less.
He is on a special mission,
Marz's special apparition.
Telling every girl and boy:
Share the love, and peace, and joy!
Very nice puzzle and love the song lyrics Teresa. I just had to sing them out loud. Of course, I am here along!#6: Kit E. Katz (hello) on Dec 6, 2011
Love the puzzle & the poem. With all these nice season themed puzzles I may yet find my Christmas spirit this year! :)#7: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Dec 6, 2011
:) Teresa, you are a poet too. Love it!#8: jewel crown (jewel) on Dec 6, 2011
You certainly make your puzzles fun. I love the extra comments you make. Cheers!#9: Janet (jltho) on Dec 6, 2011

Far out and funky Teresa! What an amazing read that was, I do love poetry, bit of a poet myself now and then, thanks for sending me there, wow! :)#14: Joseph Jessen (gijoex2) on Dec 7, 2011
Teresa, what's with the groan? Do I sense a bit of "bah or humbug??"#15: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Dec 7, 2011
I think it's the pun of Harold for Herald. :)#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 7, 2011
Kristen is right, just anticipating everyone else groaning at the pun. :-)#17: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Dec 7, 2011
I'm amazed it took 15 comments to get a Herald! (I'd originally written "harald", so Teresa's comment makes sense)#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 7, 2011
It's actually Herald.#19: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Dec 7, 2011
Initially I was going to borrow a parody off the Internet. But when I did a google for "Hark the Harold" I was amazed at how many people spelled it this way without realizing their mistake. So I had to write my own parody. :-)
So, Kristen, it actually took 18 comments to get to the correct spelling. :-D
d'oh! Busted :D#20: Gary Webster (glwebste) on Dec 8, 2011
Pun, schmun! I still say, groan.#21: GabrielMyCat (gabrielmycat) on Dec 18, 2011 [HINT] [SPOILER]
ok, I am just off... I didn't read the title because I find it more fun to solve without hints. Anyway, when I was done, I was not seeing an angel. I was seeing a hippo cocking its head to the left. (cannot explain the feet of the angel)... maybe I am just insane? I enjoyed solving it and now I do see the angel and get Harold/herald... but I still see a hippo.#22: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 18, 2011
Now i see a hippo too! :-D#23: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Dec 18, 2011
Yay, hippo! :D#24: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 12, 2012 [SPOILER]
Hark! The Hippo Harold sings,#25: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 13, 2012
"Wonder why my ears are wings?"
"I flap and flap but still can't fly,
Can't join my flock of hippopotami."
Too funny, David. :-D#26: Tom King (sgusa) on May 23, 2014
Great puzzle!#27: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jan 6, 2018 [SPOILER]
I can't see an angel. I do see a bell.#28: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 8, 2018 [SPOILER]
She's wearing a bell-shaped dress, and her head is at the upper right.#29: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Jan 30, 2023 [SPOILER]
You know it's one worth doing when the author herself adds a groan right there in the description! :)
