I love putting things together (kinda like a puzzle!) but sometimes my husband tries to take over because he thinks it should be his job. I have to tell him to go away, and I'll let him know if I want or need his help.

I worked as a framer on a construction crew for a little bit as a teen. I built 4 houses. I've done quite a bit of mechanic work on quite a few different vehicles. I've done a lot of plumbing work in a corporate facility. And I did 2 years of landscaping. There's been several "manly" lessons I've learned that have helped me out in my life and for awhile I was a single mom of 2 boys. I felt strong enough to raise them into great men on my own. But now that I have a good man in my life that helps with the "women" jobs like cooking and painting my toenails, gardening, grocery shopping, etc..
