Firepit.. I have a mesh caged one like this but I wish I had one of the fancy decorative square ones I see in the stores all the time.

I didn't know what this was at firts but after you told me, I recognized it. We have a copper fire bowl. Great series.

Does anyone remember the old trash cans with holes that you burned leaves in before that was banned in a lot of areas?

We don't even burn wood in our fireplace anymore.

Brian are you saying you have a wood burning fireplace and you burn those prefab logs. If so what a shame,the smell of a wood burning fireplace is the best.:)

No. We burn NOTHING in our fireplace. Fresno CA is in a very large valley and our own pollution just sits on top of us. We have "burn days" and "no burn days" for word burning stoves and fireplace inserts but burning in open fireplaces like mine is not permitted. I don't miss it. The smoke plays havoc on my sinuses. If it didn't adversely affect resale value, I'd cement mine up and tear down the chimney (which is ugly).

We still have a burn barrel but we burn paper in it not leaves. I compost them. We can only burn between sundown and sunup though.
