Puzzle Description:

New Home Adventures... Found a hummingbird feeder in one of my palm trees, cleaned it out, added fresh homemade nectar.. and voila! Now I have at least 3 different hummingbirds coming around every morning! One of them has a bright red spot on his neck that is so shiny and brilliant that it looks like he's been bedazzled! His colors are amazing. Another has a red spot on his neck too but he's not as vibrantly colored. And there's a dull gray female that comes over too. See first spoiler for the greatest hummingbird experience I've ever had in my life! And a recipe for homemade nectar :)

Cutest hummingbird experience ever... I just took the feeder down so I could put fresh nectar in it and pretty little guy came yelling at me to put it back. He went and perched in the neighbors tree til I came back. Then he drank from it while I was hanging it!!! (This was the not so vibrantly colored male bird.)

Hummingbird Nectar recipe: 1 cup pure cane sugar, 4 cups purified water... Boil for 2 minutes exactly (to cook out any impurities that may be in the sugar but not lose any of the sugar), allow to cool, pour into red feeder, then store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in a recycled soda bottle or other sealable container. Change the nectar daily to prevent harmful bacterias getting to the birds. Note: DO NOT put red food coloring in the mixture. If you do not have a red feeder, add red ribbon or a pretty flower to the feeder. The red will attract the birds but the plain old sugary water will get them coming back for more!

That is a big humming bird. Better hope it don't mistake you for food.

I used to work in a hunting camp and the hummingbirds would come into the lodge and fly up to the window trying to get out. It really amazed me that after a couple of times catching them that when I clucked to them they would just sit there till I picked them up and took them outside. The first couple of times they were shaking but after that they were calm and a couple of times just sat on my hand before they flew away. Thanks for the puzzle it brought
back a lot of pleasant memories!!!!

That is so awesome Ailsa :) I've never been that close to a hummingbird before. I don't think this little guy will ever get to the point of letting me hold him but it was cool that he got close enough that I could have touched him.

And thank you Aldege.. It is a nice change :)

Levi, I had to make him big cause I can only make small puzzles. I couldn't get enough detail in a smaller scale to make him at least somewhat look like a hummingbird. ;D

Oh, it's not a flying monster attacking a lighthouse?

(Sorry, couldn't resist!)

I love hummingbirds, but only spot them occasionally. Prinny, this inspires me to do exactly what you did - get a feeder and keep it full. Thank you for that!

Also, TERRIFIC puzzle - great image and satisfying solve!

I love when an old gem resurfaces :))
