Puzzle Description:

New Home Adventures.. So, what you're seeing here is the water softener system on the left, the salt tank for the water softener system in the center, and the water heater on the right.. See 1st spoiler for the story that goes along with this adventure.

So, we've never had a water softener system before but we were so excited to find out this house came with one. Of course, the landlord failed to mention a very important detail... You see, apparently you need a filter between the system and the salt tank!! Who knew?? haha.. SO yea, the little salt beads got into the pipes and clogged hoses and things throughout the house. Both toilets and the kitchen sink had to be unclogged.. Well, we forgot to check the washer hoses and they ended up busting which caused a huge flood through the laundry room, down the hall, and into the boys' bedroom, girls' bedroom, and Bella's closet. As soon as we got the water softener problems fixed, the water heater went out!! I swear if it isn't one thing, it's EVERYTHING!!! haha

Ahh, the joys of home ownership.

Oh, that's awful. You mention a landlord. Are you buying or renting? Either way, there must be some legal recourse for all the problems you are encountering.

We're renting.. The homeowner used to work for my husband. She had to leave state so she asked us if we'd move into her house. She's paid for all the repairs we've had to make but really, the first week or two we were here made us seriously consider moving back to our old house. Things are better now but I still have to fix the waterfall feature we have in the back yard. I guess I need to take all the river rocks out of the base and seal it cause it drains in just a few hours. lol... Maybe I should have named this series "New Home Fiascos" instead of Adventures!! haha

Sounds like that would have been a great series name! I hope things got better
