The series started with 1968's Dragonflight and is still being added to today by her son, Todd Mccaffrey. One of my favorite authors and series! When my husband and I combined libraries, we had more duplicate McCaffreys than any other author. (Douglas Adams was #2)

I was really excited to see a Pern puzzle -- Dragonriders of Pern is one of my desert island books. But I was disappointed when it was mostly a word puzzle. Let's see some dragons and watchwhers!

A good dragon, watchwher or fire lizard would take more skill than I have.

The Dragon Riders of Pern books were my favourite when I was young, I loved 'The White Dragon' the best, and Jaxom was my favourite character :)
