The 60's Batmobile was one sweet Lincoln!
I also liked the bats on the wheel centers.
Like Synthia, I watched this show as a kid and thought it was a normal action show. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized it is a comedy, and in the cartoon that came on before it, Speed Racer, everybody in nearly every race dies except for Speed, his brother, and sometimes the bad guy if Inspector Detector is waiting at the finish line. If not, the bad guy dies in the race as well. Never noticed as a kid. But then, at that age, I also didn't realize that the Village People songs were places to pick up guys. I thought they looked like a crew of tough dudes that could be their own superhero team. How did they never get a cartoon show like the Super-Globetrotters?
