Nice image...makes me hungry.
For no real reason I decided to tackle this one very methodically. I went one by one through all columns for line logic and then each row...and then each column and then each row again (twice each). after those four passes, only 16 spaces were blank. after one more pass through the columns only 2 blanks. Not as interesting as the picture itself ;)
