Puzzle Description:

It all happens so fast,all that work and preparation.You've won all your races convincingly and you finally earned the right to a showdown with the top dog.You know your Olds 442 has the horsepower to match that Hemi Duster and now it's between you and him.Mano a mano.Who will react the quickest but still be able to get the tires to grip,control all that power,hold traction and get to the end of the quarter mile first....Oh no lane 1 red lights. The Duster shuts her down part way and coast to a victory by default. Bummer.

Thx Marie-Louise,usually i make my car puzzles from looking at pictures in my car books to get ideas,but this time i just totally made this one from my memories of these cars and memories of seeing them race at a dragstrip. My nephew Rick has a 69 Olds Cutlass like the 442 so that helped me with the image of his being fresh in my mind.:)

These look great! They seem more authentic than most of the glossy car photos.

thx Teresa,whenever i watch drag racing i always feel so bad when this happens to some poor shmuck.The only thing worst maybe is when someone red lights on their first race,and it's over like that,their day is done.
