Puzzle Description:

Beatrice the Bee.

#1: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 6, 2011 [SPOILER]

Cute! This reminds me of Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends. Their neighbor is a bee named Bee-trice.

Wonderful solve.

Miss Spider is how I knew what this would be before i started also :) ...I guess that's just another benefit to having two kids under the age of 5.

Cute,love the wings.
#4: Tiffany Powell (magicring) on Oct 6, 2011 [HINT]
Cute puzzle - didn't really guess, just a little "smile logic" at the end!
#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 6, 2011
Excellent puzzle, Marz. I enjoyed the logic on this one. No guessing. And the image is just so cute!

Quite appropriate today at my house- my husband just finished extracting the honey from his bee hive. Beatrice was not pleased at his intrusion!

Thanks!

Fresh honey, yummy!!!

Thanks all :)
#8: Gator (gator) on Oct 6, 2011 [HINT]
After the initial line logic, edge logic in column 1 lets us place 5 of the 6 cells. More line logic. Smile logic at the end. Great puzzle!

Found to be logically solvable by gator.

Thanks Gator :)

This "series" is just PERFECT!

Beatrice seems to have a bit of "junk in the trunk" I once heard that someone "proved" through calculations that it is impossible for a bubblebee to fly. Could be urban legend.
#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Oct 9, 2011 [SPOILER]
I think the calculations "proved" that the wing surface area of the bumblebee was too small to provide the lift necessary to let it fly. But the calculations were based on fixed-wing flight and (if I remember correctly) the author wasn't even suggesting that the bee couldn't fly, but that the method of flapping that the bee uses provides more lift than fixed-wing flight could.

Nice puzzle and another pixel-hunter for me.

Joe, you are a font of knowledge.

Cute puzzle! A bit tricky getting started and needed some edge logic, but once it got moving, it flowed nicely.
