I'm stuck and can't solve this one, so I'm going to stop before I get frustrated. When a large puzzle requires guessing, I usually just skip it, but I hate having to skip one of yours. Oh well.

Aldege, I enjoy these detailed story puzzles more when they were in color. More fun to solve, and easier to get in the detail that makes your puzzles so interesting.

Good one. Ed's a nice guy. The Flubbs better pay for that swell addition!

I'm sorry Teresa,i just couldn't get this one solvable,i'm glad you peeked to enjoy the story anyways. The next one in this series is solvable, hope you try it.

thx Lilly, yeah Ed's nice and he won't charge the Flubbs more than what it cost to make the changes to their car.

that Ed is a gem. in a profession that has a lot of 'shade' involved, he seems to genuinely want to do the right thing. but not if it's patently obvious that the customer is trying to sneak something over here. if he didn't want the car he shoulda sold it to someone else himself, and sucked up the loss. after all, he's gaining a wee wonder, so what's his damage?
#9: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Sep 11, 2011
Your right Annalivia,Ed wants to do whatever he has to to make the customer happy,it ensures repeat business from that customer plus word of mouth is the best form of advertising, however if he gave the Flubbs their money back he would have to absorb the loss himself and he wouldn't stay in business long if he did that too many times.Ed has a family of employees to think about and he doesn't want to see them unemployed. It's not all about making money.:)
