Thanks, Aldege. Your assumption is correct.

i couldn't get it to solve logically. got all of the other colors and a little over half the green, got far enough to located one of the 3 in C4 and two of the 4 in C5...i was struggling pretty hard when my browser suddenly crashed and took my partial solve with it. very sad.

I got as far as you did, David. I would be bummed to have a crash after all that work.

I guessed at the rest and finished okay. Yummy puzzle.

I'm sorry for your lost work, David. My internet connection is a fragile as a tea set. Frustrating!
Thanks, Teresa.

Are those goblins and imps eating the grapes? :)

I think it could be solvable by logic alone if you added a little more green in the lower left-hand corner.

I managed to solve it without any guessing. Good puzzle.
#8: Gator (gator) on Aug 15, 2011 [HINT]
After I got as far as I could with color/line logic, I used edge logic on the remaining 2 clue in column 16 to make R17C16 and R18C16 dots. A little more line logic.

The next one is a little hard to see, but imagine if the remaining 6 2 clues in row 13 were pushed as far right as they could go. Then cells R13C6-R13C11 would be where the 6 clue would be and R13C13-R13C14 would be where the 2 clue would be. If you look how row 14 is affected, you will see that it is impossible to complete row 14. So we know that the 6 clue cannot go all the way right and must occupy R13C5. The rest solved with line logic.

Found to be logically solvable by gator.

Can be served casual or fancy ... or in the 'spirit' in which they are partaken ;)
