I used to be a big fan of "Beachcombers", eh. That Relic, he crack me up.

You are a source of happy amazement Jan. I've never heard of nor seen this TV series. I was overly busy during the series' run dates. Looks like I missed a good one. Ah, that wacky Welshman and who can resist the RCMP?
As awesome as it sounds, did it really rival the Ministry of Silly Walks?

Gypso I have to be honest and admit that monty python are untouchable
#9: Jan Wolter (jan) on Oct 6, 2007
Beachcombers was pretty low key. It just hinted at being funny. Actually it just hinted at being dramatic too. I always found it immensely likable though. Much more pleasant to watch the Monty Python, if you ask me. But mainly I mention it because it's the only Canadian television show I could think of it off hand. Even having grown up close enough to the border to pick up the CBC.

It sounds like you grew up in a fun part of the country Jan. You had a wide variety of cultural experiences.

What a sweet moment that had to be Sarah. Now there was a very different killer bunny story, eh? "The Life of Brian" is also a Monty Python favorite of mine.
It warms my heart to hear of the MP torch being passed on to the next generation. ^v^

Odd just watched "Life of Brian" & "The Meaning of Life". Been listening to "Always look on the bright side of life" on repeat.
