Tom i did that soaking it first thing at your suggestion the last time we had corn,i really didn't notice any difference in taste,nor did it keep the husks from scorching up any more than usual.I always cook the corn up on the top rack so it doesn't scorch to much anyway.Either way the corn is great cooked in the husk instead of husking and boiling.What do others think?

I think that since it has to be husked before or after, better have one of the kids do it before ;-)

Good thinking Jota,it hurts like heck husking after cooking.
