This one too is derivated from an icon.
I'm a beginner after all.

Fairly nice image, solves very nicely. Very cool.

Good picture but it took me forever to solve because the blue numbers don't stand out from the black. I found solving it frustrating and hard on my eyes.
#4: Martial (marso) on Nov 3, 2007
Sorry about that. Did you check the contrast on your monitor?
#5: Jan Wolter (jan) on Mar 18, 2005
Yeah, I have that problem too. I think I should make something happen if you click on a number or hover over it. Maybe a a box comes up with "Blue Seven" in it or something. Now if only I had time to do more programming....

Cute.
Sometimes it helps to make the puzzle bigger... easyer to distinguish the blue numbers from the black.
Is it too much work to make the numbers bold? (thicker)

There's an item about the number image tiles around here someplace. The existing numbers are hand-drawn by me, not computer-rendered. This is largely because I can't find a font that has the aspect ration I need - digits more than twice as high as they are wide. With hand-rendered letters, I can't anti-alias, which makes it hard to make easy to read bold digits on a small scale. I'd love better sets of clue images, but haven't figured out how to make any.

I think the clue numbers are just fine. I make the puzzle bigger if I'm having a hard time seeing the numbers and it helps a lot.

(The zoom feature was added after most of the comments above were posted. I does help a lot, if your computer screen is big enough.)

The zoom feature is fabulous and I had no trouble with the colors. You should work on making the image less symmetrical. Even if the whiskers came out further on one side, or curled upwards, that would help.

How adorable Marso :) I love the expression!
Thank you!
#12: Arduinna (arduinna) on Aug 11, 2008 [SPOILER]
*I* was going to say I loved his expression! You took my comment, Gypso! ;)

I would like to make a cat puzzle sometime. There are about a million of them on here, but I have a black and white kitty (I call him my cow kitty because he looks like those black and white splotched cows), and I think he would make a cool puzzle.
#13: Gypso (Gypso) on Aug 18, 2008
Can Cow Kitty type too? :D
#14: Arduinna (arduinna) on Aug 18, 2008
Of course! I just need to teach him to do logic puzzles-- he's not always a very logical kitty. :/

Solved well.

creepy
#17: BlackCat (blackcat) on Dec 24, 2012
Wonderful image with easy solve.

I saw Lincoln as I was starting to get a shape. Then he started turning into the wolfman... (Actually not too farfetched considering today's 'literature'.)

The solve and pic is nice... but THOSE EYES.
