Never seen one before ... Nice!
#5: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Jun 15, 2011 [SPOILER]
Why is Tom's drill......oh, never mind...

Great image, Aldege!
#6: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Jun 15, 2011
I thought the same thing, Joel, but didn't want to ask either.
#7: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 15, 2011
Thx everyone,I was being vague as to why Tom's drill was in Lilly's toolbox on purpose so we could get these funny comments. The simple truth is that Tom and I had made reference to a hand drill in a past puzzle and Tom and I are probably the only ones old enough to remember hand drills. They are the prehistoric cordless drill.lol.
#8: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 15, 2011
heyyy...who stole my drill
#9: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 15, 2011
C-mon who would steal that old thing, lol.
#10: Lilly Johns (LJohns315) on Jun 15, 2011
Alright; I confess. Tom, I stole it to sell to the Smithsonian Institute as an antique. :)
#11: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Jun 15, 2011
I don't think Tom is THAT old; oh, you mean the drill. lol
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 15, 2011
It's ok Tom,you and I are old just from a numeric stand point,I doubt many of the young buckaroos on PBN could keep up with our stamina.lol.
#13: Lilly Johns (LJohns315) on Jun 15, 2011
Experience is everything! You two have got it.
#14: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 15, 2011
hmmmm we could take on more, lilly lol
#15: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 15, 2011
That's why Niki went for an old guy,her sisters are freaked out because i'm as old as her parents. I am so dying to call them mom and dad but they asked me not to.It's hilarious.

I have a drill like this. I've never used it.

I have used this type of drill in my childhood, and I so hated it I've never used one as an adult. Now, the brace & bit -- that's fun to use!
#17: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 16, 2011
Joe why do you hate it? It comes in real handy for quick, easy jobs. I love it.
#18: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 16, 2011
and has greater precision
#19: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 16, 2011
Precision is important.
#20: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 16, 2011
you notice the gurls know that
#21: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 16, 2011 [SPOILER]
My father's hand drill was probably pretty cheap. Add to that the fact that I was small and had limited hand strength, and you've got a recipe for hand-drill failure.

I'm sure the one I inherited from my father-in-law is of better quality, but the Ryobi 16v cordless with lithium batteries that goes from 0-2000rpm smoothly is just so much more convenient. And it leaves a hand free to hold things.

I've drilled from precise 1/16" holes up to giant 2" holes with it with no problem. Using good bits is the key to success.
#22: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 17, 2011
but can a Ryobi 16v love you back?
#23: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 17, 2011
Joe's right a man needs a good hardened bit for great success, and I'm sure 16v's of Ryobi must feel like love to someone.
#24: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 17, 2011
All I can say is, I think you guys are looking for love in all the wrong places.
#25: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 17, 2011
lmbo Joe, how about behind the woodshed?
#26: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 17, 2011
How about on the back deck in broad daylight with my wife.
#27: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 8, 2012 [SPOILER]
I have a set of dewalt 18v's and i have a drill press, but there are some jobs where my hand drill is the right tool for the job. nice puzzle!
#28: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jun 2, 2019
I think Dave's got it right. Variety is the spice of life.
