I assume you are all from the same family. Are you kids?

I have some suggestions for you that will make you popular here.

Puzzles should have unique solutions. Use the check button before publishing.

People like interesting looking puzzles, puzzles that are images of things, not too easy puzzle, puzzles with good stories associated, puzzles within puzzles, theme puzzles.

People don't like fill-in puzzles (with no or little white spaces), just designs, just words (like this puzzle), overused puzzles themes such as hearts, apples, flags (I know cause I think I've done them all)

Try solving your own puzzle before publishing it. Is it interesting for you to solve? Is the image pleasing? Could you edit it before publishing to make it even more pleasing.

Again, welcome. It is a supportive community and we appreciate well constucted puzzles.

Thanks, Brian.

A note to the parents: You might like to read the comments on two discussions in the Forum (tab on the left) for Topic #130 and Topic #198. Remember, this is not a family site per se, and kids should probably be supervised and guided through the puzzle creation process. If you'd like some fun summer time sites for kids who want to to artsy things, here are a few links:

If your son would like to create art on the computer, here are some fun sites:

http://bomomo.com/

http://www.jacksonpollock.org/
http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/

The last one is my favorite.

Thanks for the links, Teresa. Georgia is having fun with Bomomo. I can't access the sand game on chir.ag, because of some java plug-in thing. :( Hopefully, I can get that figured out.

Am I the only one who thought a plethora of johns was a lot of different kinds of toilets?
