Puzzle Description:

Eddie Rickenbacker was the all-American hero-race car driver,World War I flying ace(Medal of Honor,Croix de Guerre,seven Distinguished Service Crosses),developer and eventual president of Eastern Air Lines,carmaker,and president of the Indianapolis Speedway.(I made this puzzle to honor the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 race.)

Thx annalivia,no i don't remember Billy but i've heard of him.Any chance you could make a puzzle and enlighten me about him,or post a comment on this puzzle giving me some history about him. I really would like the puzzle though.lol.

geez, aldege! if I did a puzzle of him it'd be pretty generic looking! anyway he won the Indy 500 twice in a row. he was killed in '55 in the attempt to make it three in a row. he was our hometown boy (fresno, CA), and was considered one of the outstanding race car drivers of the time. maybe if I can track down a picture of his car I'll do that instead. :-)
