Puzzle Description:

The Space Needle, built for the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. You can still go up the Needle and dine at the rotating restaurant at the top. Here the Needle is shown paired with "the bluest skies you've ever seen," which is from the theme song for the "Here Come the Brides" TV show later that decade. The show was about the "Mercer Girls," women from the east coast who were brought out to help civilize things by marrying the rowdy men in Seattle. This particular Space Needle is rather short and squat, because I like 20x20 puzzles!

Here Come the Brides was one of my favorite TV shows at the time. I still know the whole theme song. When I was in Seattle 10 years ago, the song wouldn't quit running through my head. And I did have dinner at the top of the Needle! Nice puzzle!
