Puzzle Description:

Get a spare tank of propane for the gas grill. Don't want to run out when the tri tip is half cooked.

Okay, what's a tri-tip? I'd look it up, but the web browser is broken on this netbook.

It is a beef roast that is triagular shaped. Ask your butcher if they don't usually provide that cut in your area. Most leave the think layer of fat on while BBQing but I trim it ALL off. No flare-ups. I put on a dry rub with Pappy's seasoning (paprika, pepper, salt, celery seed, garlic, mustard, onion, coriander). Takes about 15-20 min on a side to get to med rare. Use a thermometer. Let rest then cut ACROSS the grain. VERY popular here in central CA. Enjoy!
