A great comment, Tom. Robert, I have visions of a house that fell into a sink hole. But this one was built on purpose. It cuts down on building and heating/cooling costs. The front is visible and has windows all the way across. The second floor has a small balcony. That is why they have the A-frame style roof; other undergrounds have one floor and a flat or slightly tilted grass-covered roof, some with skylight windows.#8: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Feb 22, 2011
