Ryan, why inflict your boredom on us? Please read the "Create Puzzles" link on the left of your screen, and use your talent to entice and challenge us, with a recognizable or fun or clever image that's worth the solve. I know you can do it.

At least his spelling was correct in this puzzle's description.

With my big one puzzle under my belt, I can safely say it isn't that hard to make a puzzle that IS something.

very disappointing to not get an image as a result.

Why did this pop up in the "Featured Puzzles" on the home page? I thought these had a minimum threshold for quality rating?

If you squint, you can see something fuzzy

Honestly, I enjoyed the fiddly sort of solve, but the fact that the creator admitted to not putting in much effort takes it down a notch. If the creator doesn't care much for his own puzzle, why should we?

Now you're thinking like a veteran puzzle-solver!

This was actually a fun solve.

David - The featured puzzle is just a random selection from all available. The idea was to keep the home page as server-unintensive as possible. You can find the best puzzles by clicking on the Find Puzzles button, then choosing the Best Puzzles tab.

An update from a few years later: Actually the code for selecting puzzles for the front page does look at the quality rating, but that code had a bug that was selecting from all puzzles, no matter what their quality rating was. That bug was fixed a few months ago. The minimum quality rating for being featured on the front page is still pretty low, but this puzzle's current quality rating is so low that it wouldn't qualify to be shown there anymore.

I wondered if I should delete this one, but Aurelian and Joe said that it was fun to solve, so it stands.
