JC, what grade level? (I'm suspecting college). That's the way all books and authors should be taught thru all grades. Not just throw a book at the class and not explain the context. Certainly you don't want to lose the 2nd graders with a long lecture but there are ways around that. Now what were those disparaging remarks about grad students?
