Puzzle Description:

For my son's 1st birthday, we went to visit his Dad (Air Force) who was away for training. His Dad asked the team if anyone could babysit for an evening. Three Marines volunteered. (Thanks, Marines!) So I've always told my son that because he was such a little whirlwind as a toddler, we had to call in the Marines.

I agree the image is a little confusing but the story is great.

the picture is so supposed to be a Marine in battle gear. I didn't know how to draw one. No disrespect toward Marines; I've meet a lot at the Veteran's hospital and they are really great people and great soldiers. My son loves to hear this story. ...and if you have 3 Marines babysitting, you know your child is safe.

Thanks for the explanation.

Well, Sarah, considering the size of the puzzle.. your description does make sense. I don't think any marines would be offended by its simplicity. If anything, they'll be grateful for your support in honoring them. :)

Sarah, really funny story and great small puzzle. And how old is that whirlwind now?

Thanks Alicia for your kind words.

Joel Lunn, my whirlwind turned 23 2 days ago. But I almost got him a singing birthday card that said Happy Birthday, You're 6. when he was little he said he wanted to be Peter Pan and never grow up. He has mellowed a bit but I'm not sure he's grown up any. lol

Merry Christmas!

Sarah, your Joel has the same birthday as my twins (but they're 12 years older). I really could have used the marines when they were little--would have needed six of them.
