Puzzle Description:

Not much of a puzzle, but Mars(red) and mercury(blue)1degree apart at sunset and 1st quarter moon just above Jupiter(green). Geminid meteor shower (streak)after midnight in dark sky locales. Enjoy!

Jupiter is the brightest object in the sky after the moon. Through good binoculars or small telescope you can see a colored disc with four bright moons in a line.

Tom, Jupiter is bigger, but much farther away than Mars and Mercury.

cool!! saw Jupiter under the moon. I live in a dark sky locale so am waiting for the meteor shower.

Oh well Sarah. A lunar eclipse is coming up I'll do a puzzle for that too.
