Some calendar math:

I put some numbers into a date calculator: WebPBN went online on March 23, 2004. Jan passed away on January 1, 2015. According to the date calculator, it's 3,936 days that he was the administrator on this site. Using the date calculator to go forward 3,936 days from January 1, 2015, that day is is October 11, 2025, which is this coming Saturday.

If it did the math right, this means that this Saturday I will have been the admin on this site for the same amount of time that Jan was.

That seems so weird. He did vastly more programming on this site than I ever have, and thought up the original idea and made it happen, so it feels presumptuous to compare my contribution to his. I have lots of features that I plan to add to the site someday when my load as a caregiver for my son is lighter. And I *have* added some features, and fixed a bucket of bugs. But mostly I've spent the last eleven years just keeping the site running.

Anyway, I am glad that the site is still here!

Both you and Jan deserve any kudos that come your way. I may not be a daily visitor any more but WebPBN still plays a big part in my life. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to contribute and thankful that the site continues to give me a place to come play and exercise my mind for a bit.

That is a noteworthy milestone...thanks for pointing it out. I look forward to the puzzles and creative images each day, and appreciate this community you've supported. But most appreciated is all the time and effort you've put into this site to keep it running so well.
