I am very sorry to let you know that JoDeen Mozena (Ozymoe) passed away on August 2.

That's so sad. She always seemed like one of those people who would be around forever.

I'm sorry to read this but appreciate being told. She seemed supportive to everyone, and I remember some kind things she said about puzzles of mine I was kind of lukewarm about.

I noticed she had 200+ comments on the condolence page ... she obviously affected many more people positively than just us here at WebPBN.

How sad. She seemed so nice. We will miss her here at PBN. Thank you for letting us know. I will think of her next time I am wearing my favorite hat.

She was the reason I made my first puzzle. When she decided to try, I felt encouraged and decided to be brave like her. I didn't realize she never made another one. Ozymoe, you will be missed.

She had so many kids, and grandkids, and I think great-grandkids, and was always a kind and thoughtful person. I loved the story (and video!) of when she was on Jeopardy, and how at the end she caught the host off-guard by mentioning that she was expecting a baby.
