I knew what it was from the title but as I was solving it I couldn't figure out how it was going to resolve into a wolf. Having just the head was a great surprise!#5: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on May 25, 2009 [SPOILER]
His upper jaw looked like the head, and he was a small wolf (or at least seen from a distance) sitting on a log or something, but still silhouetted against the moon.#6: Byrdie (byrdie) on Sep 22, 2009 [SPOILER]
Ditto #s 4 & 5, as the puzzle first began solving it looked like it was going to be the small, full body of the wolf, perhaps sitting on a mountain or cliff and silhoutted against the moon. Nearly twenty years later, this is still an excellent puzzle. I hadn't found this one before -- neat!
