Nice little puzzle, Brian. Question: Is "cutting the hole" a golf specific term? Does it refer to playing the game or the cut of the grass at the hole?

They actually have a round cutter that removes a plug of sod and they use that to fill up the previous hole location.

I never really thought about it much.
