Hi.
Every time I "Find Puzzles", I need to specify my parameters -- status, board size, difficulty, solvability, sort by, max per page. That is OK; I don't mind doing it.

But starting a few days ago, when I finish one puzzle and wish to go to the next, I hit the back button. And instead of restoring the list of puzzles satisfying my parameters, I get an error saying:

"To display this webpage correctly, resubmit the data you entered earlier. By doing this, you will repeat any action this page previously performed."

That means I have to re-enter all of my parameters again with every single puzzle. That is too much work. Is there any hope for me?

My way might be a work-around for you for now. I set all my parameters and generate a list and then CTRL+click on the puzzle i want to solve so it opens in a new tab to solve. (alternatively you could right click and "Open in New Tab")

When I'm done with the puzzle i just close the Tab and go back to the list, which has been waiting patiently :)

Note that the new tab won't have the left-side menu buttons, which I like because it is cleaner with more screen real estate left open. Just something to know/expect I guess.

Good luck!

Thank you so much, David. This works as long as I remember to hit CTRL when selecting a puzzle.

You can also center-click to open the puzzle in a new tab. It might be easier to not screw-up since it's a different button.

I always forget about center-click because i have a macro assigned to it that overrides the defaults. good tip though!

Hm. This must have been caused by when I turned off a lot of caching on the website, because browsers were remembering too much and not showing updates. So now for this one page it seems they are remembering too little. That's not good either! But I think David's approach of opening puzzles in a new tab is probably the easiest way to address it.

My mouse doesn't have a center button, but right-clicking on the link and choosing "Open link in new tab" works.

In some (most?) cases, if you have a scroll wheel depressing it will act like a center button on a mouse.

Hi all.

Thanks so much for your help. The back button is working fine now (who knows why it wasn't working earlier.) But it is always so good to know that help is readily available.
