I discovered that cross-stitch patterns use a grid for designing so I checked out a few sites to get some ideas. I found that any useful designs had to be small and most of the small ones were very simple and childllike, so I thought that cross-stitchers might be able to get some good designs from here.
I think the hardest thing to do on the grid is the human image, especially if you want to have a semblance of a face.

WOW. I love this one too. Very nice pic. Well done. Thanx. :-)

I agree that human images are hard to do, but on the plus side, you have the human visual system working on your side, which is always eager to construct a face out of any vaguely face-like arrangement of blobs. We see faces on tree trunks and on the fronts of cars. Why wouldn't we see a face in a few blobs of pixels.

True, I saw this amazing image of a face in some water the other day, it was incredible, absolutely miraculous, and then I saw it again on the hub cap of a new car, it was positively stunning :)

Great puzzle! At first I thought it was a red chili pepper...but I couldn't figure out why a chili pepper would have legs.

Good Job! I enjoyed solving it!
