MST3K?

Mystery Science Theater 3000. It was hilarious, at times, other times, more sublime (that's code for "not quite so funny"). It was a few years back, the guy and the robots would have to watch bad movies, and so they'd comment on the movie. You'd see the guys and the one female robot [don't try to analyze it too deeply -- like the theme song goes "if wonder what they eat and drink and other scientific facts, just repeat to yourself, 'it's just a show, I've got to relax' "] as little sillouettes (geez, that's an impossible word to spell.) in the corner. CLASSIC LINE during a bit of complicated narrative in the picture, "Geez, even Tolkien couldn't follow this plot."

You know, I've caught MST3K here and there years back but obviously not enough recognize MST3K. It was entertaining. What little I saw.

Now again J.C., dare you must. Marz's large are always worth the time. :)

Okay, but not tonight. By the by, you aren't intentionally avoiding the "Gypso" origin question by any chance, are you?

Not all puzzles are so provocative.

I have a netflix queue like that. When things finally arrive, I'm frequently baffled as to what could possibly have been going through my head when I put THAT on my queue.

I think one of my students last year convinced me to put Zoolander on my list. I had the same reaction when it got here!

Jan, why did you start #3 with "Sadly?"

Nieboo, you inspired me to check... JC's movie has only made it to #151 since January! I guess I've reordered it a few times, and I tend to add stuff I really want to see to the top. I used to have a limit of 200, but I went slightly over that once with a tv series, and it's been creeping up ever since. Now I'm at 276!

257 movies on my queue. I've been exercising iron self-control lately, and seem to be ahead of you. Considering the weird movies that show up at my house, my self-control hasn't always been so great.
