Boy, I can't even come close to any of these comments, but it's a great puzzle & a great story!#10: Gypso (Gypso) on Jul 8, 2007
Jan's story was as entertaining as Marie's picture. Thanks to you both.#11: J.C. Anderson (jc.noserdna) on Aug 23, 2007 [SPOILER]

Dare J.C. dare! They never disappoint.#13: J.C. Anderson (jc.noserdna) on Aug 23, 2007
MST3K?
Mystery Science Theater 3000. It was hilarious, at times, other times, more sublime (that's code for "not quite so funny"). It was a few years back, the guy and the robots would have to watch bad movies, and so they'd comment on the movie. You'd see the guys and the one female robot [don't try to analyze it too deeply -- like the theme song goes "if wonder what they eat and drink and other scientific facts, just repeat to yourself, 'it's just a show, I've got to relax' "] as little sillouettes (geez, that's an impossible word to spell.) in the corner. CLASSIC LINE during a bit of complicated narrative in the picture, "Geez, even Tolkien couldn't follow this plot."#14: Gypso (Gypso) on Aug 24, 2007
You know, I've caught MST3K here and there years back but obviously not enough recognize MST3K. It was entertaining. What little I saw.#15: J.C. Anderson (jc.noserdna) on Aug 24, 2007
Now again J.C., dare you must. Marz's large are always worth the time. :)
Okay, but not tonight. By the by, you aren't intentionally avoiding the "Gypso" origin question by any chance, are you?#16: Arduinna (arduinna) on Jan 16, 2008 [SPOILER]

Not all puzzles are so provocative.#18: Arduinna (arduinna) on Jan 18, 2008
I have a netflix queue like that. When things finally arrive, I'm frequently baffled as to what could possibly have been going through my head when I put THAT on my queue.
I think one of my students last year convinced me to put Zoolander on my list. I had the same reaction when it got here!#19: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Aug 26, 2008
Jan, why did you start #3 with "Sadly?"#20: Jan Wolter (jan) on Aug 27, 2008
Same reason I ended it with "moon."#21: Bionerd (nieboo) on Nov 13, 2008 [SPOILER]

Nieboo, you inspired me to check... JC's movie has only made it to #151 since January! I guess I've reordered it a few times, and I tend to add stuff I really want to see to the top. I used to have a limit of 200, but I went slightly over that once with a tv series, and it's been creeping up ever since. Now I'm at 276!#23: Jan Wolter (jan) on Nov 21, 2008
257 movies on my queue. I've been exercising iron self-control lately, and seem to be ahead of you. Considering the weird movies that show up at my house, my self-control hasn't always been so great.#24: Jota (jota) on Dec 26, 2008
OMG poor Hoppy, my heart is broken#25: Jan Wolter (jan) on Dec 26, 2008
