I gave myself a tattoo once when I was 14. My dad was ticked when he found it so I removed it myself.. I did it so carefully that I only left a scar in the shape of the tat. Then years later, when Dad couldn't do anything about it, I got the hearts to cover the scar.

This one is on my foot

Your dad couldn't do anything about it so you got FOURTEEN tattoos? LOL, being a parent isn't easy. I hope my 14 and my 15 y/o's will wait a few more years before they start getting tattoos.

I have a friend who got a tattoo of a flying pidgeon with an olive branch in its mouth at about that age. Today, the pidgeon looks the same, but the olive branch has lost its shape so now it looks like a vomiting pidgeon. :-)

lol Petra.. mine still look about the same as when I got them.. Yes, I got 14 but not to spite my dad. He actually likes most of them now. He's even said he's thinking about getting one.
I tell my kids that if they think they want one now, and end up still wanting the SAME one when they're old enough to get one and can pay for it on their own, then I'll be okay with it. Meanwhile, FORGET IT!! lol

How did you remove it? OMG!
#11: Alicia Snyder (prinny) on Aug 20, 2010
Well, Jota.. not the smartest way. I cut it out with a knife and some needles. I guess you could say that when I was a kid, I was what we nowadays refer to as "emo" (not proud of it, but it is what it is)

Poor thing, you must've suffered a lot.
#13: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 20, 2010 [SPOILER]
I can't even see the scar. May I assume that is because the original tat was also two hearts? Were you in love? Was he worth the trouble and pain you endured?
#14: Alicia Snyder (prinny) on Aug 21, 2010
fasstar: The original was a peace sign.
I was 14 at the time so no, I didn't know what love was yet.

jota: I'm a survivor :)

We're all survivors one way or another. To live is to survive, I think.

Alica; Thank you for sharing. I have no ink. I wouldn't know what to get.
