i didnt know she was related to jimmy durante but with that schnoz she must be!#2: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jul 17, 2010 [SPOILER]
haha
I did have to guess several times on this one. I had trouble with the nose area because either way it didn't seem to look right. I have to also say, I did not recognize the image, and didn't associate her with Las Vegas. It really is difficult to create a good portrait in a small grid, so I appreciate your effort, Kai.#3: Jota (jota) on Jul 17, 2010

I don't know that I guessed. Gator HELP!#4: Liz P (Lizteach) on Jul 17, 2010 [HINT] [SPOILER]
No guessing. Some two-way logic in a spot or two, and a little edge logic on the right side (that may not have even been necessary, but I tried it before I realized there was two-way logic to be had).#5: Kai-Uwe Zickerick (conzick) on Jul 18, 2010 [SPOILER]
I thought it was Barbra (I'm serious!)
Streisand?#6: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jul 18, 2010
Yes, the noses are familiar...
Checked it again. No guessing required.
Found to be logically solvable by Gator.#7: Gator (Gator) on Jul 18, 2010 [HINT]
Edge logic on column 35.#8: Jota (jota) on Jul 19, 2010
Two-way logic on row 20.
The rest is normal logic.
Thanks!#9: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 19, 2010
thanks for entry Kai#10: Byrdie (byrdie) on Jul 19, 2010
Ditto #2.#11: Gator (Gator) on Jul 19, 2010 [HINT]
2 way logic?
Yes, two-way.#12: Merili (merilinnuke) on Jul 26, 2010
After you have done the edge logic on column 35 and a lot more line logic, you should be stuck again. If you look at row 20, you should only have one 2 clue left. Also notice on row 21 that you only have one 2 clue left. If you look at where you can complete the 2 clue in row 20, you will either need to fill in R20C23 or R20C25. If you look at the columns, in column 23 we have a 3 clue next. In column 25 we have a 2 clue next. So either R21C23 or R21C25 will have to be black. Knowing this, we can dot most of the rest of row 21.
lol, I also thought it was Streisand#13: Vaggelis Kamaris (evag7651) on Feb 13, 2017

Sure does look like Streisand but good puzzle#15: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 28, 2018
It's actually a pretty good likeness! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steffi_Graf#16: Velma Warren (Shiro) on Sep 23, 2018
The best what? Very tedious puzzle and I did have to guess at least once. Very complex image that must have taken a while to create.#17: Koreen (mom24plus) on May 26, 2019
Velma, she is considered by many to be the greatest tennis player of all time. I think she is still the only one who has earned the Golden Slam.
