great solve#2: Jota (jota) on Jul 3, 2010
a few areas of edge logic needed (bottom and bottom right) but completely logically solvable
Thanks for your entry and how did you have the time to make them?#3: Kai-Uwe Zickerick (conzick) on Jul 4, 2010

I gave up on this one but came back to it after reading bugaboo's comment. Yep, some spots of tricky edge logic but solvable. Very well done image.#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jul 5, 2010 [HINT]
Nicely constructed puzzle, Kai. No guessing, just some weird edge logic.#6: Gator (Gator) on Jul 9, 2010 [HINT]
After the initial line logic, I used edge logic with the 9 clue in row 53. More line logic.#7: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jul 9, 2010
I then used (off?)edge logic with the 11 clue in row 37. If you look at columns 18-21, all of the bottom clues are 3 or greater. This means that row 36 would be filled in for all of these columns. This contradicts row 36 though, So R37C21-R37C26 are dots. More line logic.
I then looked at the 7 clue in row 15. It is fairly easy to see that it cannot go on the left by looking at how it affects row 16, so R15C1-R15C11 are dots. Normal line logic will finish it out.
Not sure if all of this was necessary to solve it, but regardless, it is solvable.
Found to be logically solvable by Gator.#8: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 10, 2010
thanks for entry, Kai#9: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Oct 20, 2017
Nice. Did have to guess a couple of times.
