Cute puzzle. Is this a member of the Penguin Mafia from the Kingdom of Loathing game?

I was thinking the Penguin Mafia from "Madagascar", actually. There seem to be several branches.

I hope there isn't a internecine war. Of course, we might not have to be worried about a shooting match -- it'd be a cold war.

Very interesting puzzle. I too saw a penguin but have never seen Madagascar so I didn't get the significance. But I do now.
