Puzzle Description:

Is a zebra white with black stripes, or black with white stripes? - Neither; it's invisible with black and white stripes.

There are several ways to tackle this one, but all involve extensive color and edge logic.

One bit of color logic to get you unstuck: look at c10.
(The blue can be placed completely.)

Keeping track of what bits should be white due to (non-purple-arrow) line logic will also help.

Nice solve and funny description!

I'm always glad to tackle one of your puzzles. :)

It was fun up until the sky, then I messed up so I peeked.

Funny Joe and cool image.:)

Enjoyed the solve!

Thanks, everyone.

Norma - I had to insert the cloud in order to make the zebra non-invisible (i.e. solvable).

The fault is mine. I screwed up and without doing a lot of back tracking I couldn't fix it, so I took a quick peek and got back on track.

I had to laugh quite a bit at his "sock-puppet" nose and shetland pony-esque legs.

Adam, I think the word you're fishing for is "cute". (Or "crude", depends on your temperament.)

Cute it is, then. I guess. :-)

How fun! At one point I got stuck, and got so frustrated, looking for the next edge logic. Then I saw some color logic I missed. After I got unstuck, it was quite fun to finish. Really nicely designed, Joe.

Thanks, Teresa. I only take partial credit for the image - I got the general idea from a bit of clip-art. The cloud and the solve I do take credit for, though.

Oh, and I hope you didn't actually try to figure out my hint in comment 1, 'cause it was wrong until just now. Pesky r's and c's...

Nope, I did it on my own. *Proudly patting self on back*
:-)

After LL/CL (including my hint in comment 1) finishes the green and the left section of blue,

EL 3 r40 = c1-8 white
LL/CL finishes the black (Keep track of where no more blue can go in the upper right)

EL 6 r1 = limits it to [c19-27], so c22-24 must be blue
LL

EL 4 c20 = r9-12 w
LL

IEL 7 c36 = r2 w
LL to finish
