EDIT:
I fixed this by adding one pixel that should've been there anyway. :P

This takes some easy edge logic to keep going. A little extended line logic is also needed.

At the end, in the upper left, there's a 3x5 block c8r4 to c10r8 with a black stripe down the center c9r4-8. Since all the across clues are 2, one can use smile logic to place the remaining column clues.

Or you could use a string of 2way logic statements starting with r6, then r4 and r8.

The original (and wrong) post is below:
=====================================
This takes some easy edge logic to keep going and quite a bit of color logic.

The center red section can be solved completely after the right one is done.

The upper left is the last area to be solved. After all line solving petered out, I did edge logic on the 2 in r10 to positively place it.

Line logic then leaves a 3x5 block c8r4 to c10r8 with a black stripe down the center c9r4-8. Since all the across clues are 2, one can use smile logic to place the remaining column clues.

Or you could use a string of 2way logic statements starting with r6, then r4 and r8.

Speaking of fried, as I was doing a final run-through of the puzzle, I was attacked by a major migraine. All those lines and vivid blocks did me no good.

I had to finish the explanation this morning.

I'm not seeing how you used edge logic on the 2 clue to place it in row 10. You have columns 3-6 still open. It obviously cannot go in columns 4-5, but that leaves either 3-4 or 5-6 as possibilities. To rule out 3-4, you need to look many moves ahead.

Crap. I must've marked that 1 in r4 as done while I had my headache... time to tune it up.

Fixed by adding one pixel that was there in my original, but not my transcript...

I hate migraines.

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.

Thanks Joe. It solves much better now. I ended up just using line/color logic until the smile logic at the end. Great puzzle!

Wonderful puzzle! Thanks, Joe, for taking the trouble to fix it up. This was an awesome solve, and I love how the smile logic at the end completed the image in the most perfect way.

I hope you are feeling better today. :-)

Thanks, Teresa. I'm finally feeling better.

Haha, actually, I missed this until now.
